Just What Was Needed!
As with any old home, space and modern amenities are the updates needed in a kitchen and bath. Working within the existing footprint, but changing the flow between rooms, allowed the KC team to rearrange the kitchen layout for much needed storage and counterspace. Working to keep the style authentic to the period of the home, we incorporated Quartersawn inset cabinetry with Painted Buttercream uppers to brighten the space. The bath was updated to included a claw foot soaker tub, concrete tile accents as well as a black hexagon “rug” to create a space for serenity and soaking. Adding a linen in the bath entrance where the old door used to be, gave much needed storage for the bath space.
