New Home for Kitchen Choreography

Design Studio, Offices Move to The Commons July 5

TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN – Kitchen Choreography will move its home offices and design studio to 420 Division Street, historically known as the Stewarts Residence and now known as Building 79 on the grounds of the state hospital, July 5.

Owners Mike and Angela Goodall restored the entire 3500 square foot house that has been vacant for the last several years. Completely renovated, from mechanicals to enhancing its original design elements such as the dining room fireplace, the Goodalls are excited to move operations and join The Commons community.

The business’ previous studio and offices at 811 South Garfield Avenue will be officially closed on July 9.

“This move is important to us as a business in the Traverse City community, and to us personally, because we’ve been able to restore a beautiful old house in a great location into a working studio and offices to better serve our clients, locally and throughout Michigan,” said Angela Goodall.

The Goodalls also restored the house’s front porch, and added a sun room and back deck, further enhancing the working space and esthetics of the house that’s more than a hundred years old (con- structed in 1896).

“This property is a landmark of The Commons, and with its rehabilitation it will be a new business landmark on the west side of Traverse City,” said Raymond Minervini, a principal of The Minervini Group. “What the Goodalls have done with the interior and exterior is testimony to their attention to detail and craftsmanship – and their respect of historically significant structures.”

For nearly a decade the Kitchen Choreography team of in-house designers, project managers, inte- rior designers and installation crews has been dedicated to excellence in kitchen and bath design and re-design throughout Michigan, with a focus on northern Michigan.

Kitchen Choreography is planning a two-day grand opening celebration in September. Information will be available soon.
