Eclectically Classic
The exact definition of Eclectically Classic was developed when designing their own home. Kitchen Choreography owners Mike and Angela Goodall wanted a space that respected the originality of their home while designing a less traditional, more whimsical place to escape to after a long work day. Entertaining family and friends is their favorite pastime, so the kitchen had to look good, be happy, and function amazingly in a tight space. Opening into the other rooms as well as attaching a homeowner entry to the garage gave the room more storage while incorporating cabinetry in hues of pink, teal, and green. The main floor bedroom was converted into a generous bath, featuring a vintage buffet-turned-vanity and a two-person clawfoot tub. Mike is very proud of the mill work in the main floor bath as he installed it all himself. Expanding the master suite into an unused storage room gave the opportunity to vault the ceilings and add barn beam supports (long before it was ever a trend, mind you). Removing the old tub in the upstairs bath to design a large walk-in shower was made possible by turning the vanity into the corner. Each space has been updated for function while adding timeless charm and eclectic little touches of color, texture, and whimsey. Welcome home!
